"Dad" in Friendbird is an AI that talks like a caring father. He is not your real dad, and he is not based on anyone you know.
Your real contacts are never touched
Friendbird can't see the contacts on your phone, and it never messages anyone for you. Your companions live only inside the app.
Your chats stay on your phone
They can't sync to our cloud, so we can't read them. After a one-time download, you can chat with no internet.

Want them to text you first?
Normally, you start every chat. Turn on check-ins in settings, and a companion can text you first, like a friend asking how your day went. You choose who, when and how often. It is off until you turn it on.
