This policy explains how RageEdge AI Private Limited ("RageEdge AI", "we", "us") handles information when you visit rageedge.ai, contact us, join a beta, or use our products. We keep it plain, because privacy should be easy to understand.

Who this policy covers

If you are visiting this website, this policy is the whole story.

If your organization uses the RageEdge Platform, the agreement for your pilot or deployment sets out how your organization's data is handled, and it comes first. This policy covers this website and how we handle your team's contact details.

If you use AidEcho, our AI assistant for websites and stores, or chat with an AidEcho assistant on someone's website, AidEcho has its own privacy policy at aidecho.com/privacy.

If you use Friendbird or Askbird, each app has its own privacy notice inside the app. The section on our apps below sums up how they work.

What we collect on this website

Only what you choose to give us, and the basics any website receives:

• The contact form: your name, work email, company and role, your industry, what you want the AI to do, which devices it should run on, roughly how many, and your timeline.
• A beta sign-up: your email address and which app you want to try.
• Technical basics: like your network address and browser type, which our hosting provider uses to deliver pages and block abuse.
• Site analytics: only if you say yes in the cookie banner. See Cookies below.

How we use it

We use it to reply to you, arrange a demo or pilot, send your beta invite and updates about that beta, and keep this website secure. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

AI that runs on your device

Our products are built so the AI runs on the device itself, not on our servers.

RageEdge Platform. The assistant answers on your organization's devices. What people ask it, and the documents it answers from, stay on those devices unless your organization chooses to connect a service or turn on syncing, as set out in your agreement with us.

Friendbird. Your chats are saved only on your phone, encrypted. They can't sync to our cloud, so we cannot read them. There is no account. The internet is used only to download the AI and new companions.

Askbird. It works on your phone and laptop, and your personal data stays on your device. Nothing is uploaded to train AI. When you approve an action, like sending an email or a message, only that item goes out, through the account you chose, once you are back online.

If an app ever needs to send something off your device, for example a crash report, its own privacy notice says so, and asks you first where the law requires it.

Sharing

We share information only with the service providers who help us run this website, such as hosting and security, and email delivery, and only as far as they need it to do their job. If you book a demo, the booking tool you use has its own privacy policy. We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect people and our services from harm. We do not sell personal information.

Where we process your information

Information you send through this website may be stored and processed outside the country you live in, including by the providers who help us run it. Wherever it goes, the protections in this policy apply, and we only use providers who are contractually bound to protect it. If you need to know exactly where your data sits, email us and we will tell you.

How long we keep it

We keep contact and demo requests for as long as we need them to handle your request and any work together that follows. We keep beta sign-ups until the beta ends or you unsubscribe. You can ask us to delete your information sooner at any time.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct, export or delete the information we hold about you. You can stop beta emails at any time by replying to one, or emailing us. Depending on where you live, you may have more rights under local law. Email support@rageedge.ai and we will confirm within 30 days, and usually much sooner.

Cookies

This website does not need cookies to work. If you choose Allow in the cookie banner, we load site analytics that help us understand which pages are used, so we can make the site better. Nothing is collected until you say yes. Your choice is saved in your browser on this device. You can change it at any time with Cookie settings, also in the footer of every page.

Children

This website and the RageEdge Platform are made for businesses. Friendbird is for adults 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If we update this policy, we will change the date at the top and, for important changes, let you know.
